Locating my family has been so easy with the help of the Life360 app, I rarely write reviews but with the help of life360, my teenage kids were saved from an unfortunate situation.
My husband's location has been easy for me to detect because he's been working away from the state for a while, while this app doesn't allow me to track anyone's phone or review the activities, it helps so much in its best duty.
Hacking and tracking got easy since I was suspecting my husband after he started working in another state with the help of a private IT in who I see his positive reviews online.
A private hacker guru helps me to hack into his phone without his knowledge by providing him with his phone number and iCloud mail, I got to see places he has been to, all social media chats, live calls, text messages, and pictures taken in his phone for the past five months, with all the info constantly showing up for me through the spy link that hacker guru sent to me, have been able to monitor everything he does without him knowing anything about it, the woman he is being talked to in his presence locations with the nudes photos they always shared, all this will serve evidence for filing a divorce. I am so disappointed but at the same time I'm glad that my suspicions mind was clear, I got to see everything Real with the link guru sent to me, the hacker guru can be reached out to through mail

Same as title you cannot have any privacy period- for extremely strict, nosey and untrusting Parents this app is a dream come true!!! But for Teenagers to young adults who are trying their hardest to enjoy the freedom they deserve, this app couldn’t be any worse. If you even TRY to hide your location or turn it off EVERYONE will know it is off without fail- there seems to be a misunderstanding in apps like these and how they are used, some people will say things like “communication is key” “you just have to be honest” etc but if we just want to be away from our family and relax with friends or going out and we have the world’s strictest parents then it’s not “just about communication” it’s about the freedom we WANT and DESERVE- a few months ago I did discover a way to hide my location without anyone knowing but apparently it seems to have been patched so in other words there goes my last hope into being able to have any sibilance of freedom. I wish the creator of life 360 or someone anyone in the dev team would understand things like this and make it a actual OPTION in the app for us to HIDE our location without ANYONE being notified period. I hope this review reaches the right people and the creators realize that some parents in family’s only want one thing- Control over their children in all ways , no privacy and no boundaries.
Is there any chance someone in your family might leave the state? Any chance you might want to check on them to see how far away they are? If so you better learn your geography very well. I know my state pretty well, other states, I know the main cities. But a couple random town names in another state may leave me not having a clue where my child is. So I pinch the screen to zoom out to get a better context of where he is. Oops, Life360 DOES NOT ALLOW THAT! As soon as you expand the screen to see more map it zooms right back in on the person you are locating. So if you don’t know where Pickle Fork or Sand Bottom is too bad, because that’s where he is and that’s all you will see. This arrogant app thinks it’s knows more about what you want to see than you do!
Unfortunately this app doesn’t work stand alone with an LTE enabled watch. That’s a real downside for us.
The app generally works well but we have encountered “jumps” in tracking and other times it just doesn’t track. Seems intermittent and not device specific.
It’s also somewhat frustrating to not be able to customize the shape of “places”. The circles are OK but being able to draw an outline of a place, or even just change to a square and orient it would be nice. -example: Our kids school is at the end of our subdivision and we have to either make the school small and then get notifications they left school, or make it big enough to cover school but then it spills onto road and we are notified anything they pass through the circle.
I am a mother of 4 kids. I forced my kids to get this app after I heard about it from a family member. I originally got it for safety reasons, since I am a very protective mother. Shortly after, I became completely obsessed and attached to Life360. I would practically stalk my own children, watching their every move, how fast they’re driving, even their phone percentages go down. I knew this wasn’t the best approach, especially since I had never caught my kids doing anything remotely bad. This app is a COMPLETE waste of time and made my kids feel distrustful towards me. I don’t believe I will ever gain their trust back. Take my advice and do not download this app.
We are in scary times. I live a BIG city. Crazy things happen her EVERYDAY. Most doesn’t even make the news. I’m a mom too. So it’s important to have my family members’ location at my finger tips. It eases my anxiety. It is VERY precise too. It had addresses by the name of the business so there is no confusion as to where the members in your circle are. It alerts you when they are in car and even lets you know the speed. It give you every place they’ve been in the day. Roadside assistance too? Wow you can’t beat this with a stick. I’m very happy with this app. VERY.
PUT THIS ON YOUR GRANDPARENTS PHONE OR ANYONE WITH ALZHEIMER'S. WE HAVE TO KEEP THEM SAFE TOO.
im turning 20 soon and i have not had any teenage fun because this terrible app enables my parents to stalk my every move and obsess over my location religiously. the app doesn’t update my location and i get in trouble with my parents for it on a weekly basis. i know it was designed for safety but it’s ruining my life. i am miserable because im at the will of my strict parents that even after i had left for college, they were still stalking me 25-30 times a day. do you really get off on stripping teens of their youth when you yourself even said that you were a free kid? dont you want others to enjoy their teenage years? apparently not.
Life 360 is a great app that really helps my anxiety with people and helps me calm down when my boyfriend doesn’t answer my texts, it lets me know where he is and it makes me know that he is ok! The only complaint I have is that crash detection is only available if you have gold, I think that if someone is able to detect that someone is in a crash then they should do it and shouldn’t lock it behind a few of $10, it kinda scares me when my bf is in a car and it stops and idk what happened.
I am really tired of getting a notification to ask me, about every couple days, if I still want to continue to allow the app to use my location. Thing is…I have it set to that all the time anyway. Why on earth must I agree to continue to allow every couple days? I can’t move forward with anything else on my phone until I agree to a setting I already have it set to. I’ve sent a ticket to help fix it and…..crickets….. I could give it a better review if it wasn’t so dag on annoying.
I have used the free version for years but the last 6 months have had constant trouble with the app not updating my child’s location status. Initially when it wouldn’t show accurate location my child would go into the app and refresh and it would work. Now that doesn’t even work. I have also emailed customer service a number of times receiving only an automated reply (which I have replied to but still no help!) Time to move on and look for a better app.
