Forget Zoom if you host meetings on iPad.

Multiple stars stars for being a solid app for hosting meetings via computer. All those stars negated due to hosting capability via iPad. Zoom on computer and on iPad are two totally different experiences.
I run my business off a year-old fully updated 5th generation iPad Pro that I use as my computer.
HERE’S WHAT TO KNOW: Beyond hosting the most basic zoom meetings, you have no access on an iPad to any of the standard zoom hosting functions.
For me the iPad zoom host dealbreakers are:
1. No music. I’ve cobbled some ridiculous thing together where the participants can hear the music but can’t hear me, while I can’t hear the music or them. And oh yeah, I have to be in Share Screen mode to even pull off that ridiculous work-around, so my participants are watching me do back of house music selection on screen and meanwhile can’t see or hear me guide them/narrate like I need to as the music plays.
2. No breakout rooms. Just not an option. End of discussion.
Yes, I’ve been on with Zoom support and scoured Google and read through a ton of angry and incredulous threads about this. Yes, I’ve worked with team members on this who run my tech. We’re frankly shocked that Zoom and Apple haven’t made these basic zoom hosting functions available for iPad.
The availability of only the most basic zoom hosting functionality on iPad leaves me looking unprofessional. Zoom doesn’t offer even the most basic functionality I need on iPad to be able to use this platform in my business.

Too much ,info that is already out there,didn’t need it to be rehashed for An hour!
Needed to be addressed is efforts going forward to fix what was just broken by thesupreme court!
This to be done by political strengths and medical strengths!
Ultimately in the voting booth.also appearing before Congress as Mathilda Krim and Elizabeth Taylor did in their fight to advance AIDS funding and research.This made the 6:00 o’clock news coast to coast .That is what wakens awareness and action! Var

I looked forward to something cooler and more innovative replacing Zoom. Most recently, my issue is not being able to set the background on the mobile app and being limited to only “blur” backgrounds on the desktop. Whether on the road or at home, you shouldn’t have to be in the perfect setting to achieve a professional look on your zoom call. I’ve had to invest in a backdrop which is just stupid given they have the function but have recently limited it. I look forward to better days in video conferencing!!!

I totally recommend it I used it for class and it was an awesome experience for me and it changed my life during COVID-19 it’s great for kids and great for adults please please please get this if your child can’t go to school this is much better than home schooling the teacher teaches the kid when it’s snack time they ask their parent for one and that’s only for the kids for the working adults they can work in style maybe bring a blanket🤩thanks for reading this

This app is completely useless to me. I can not call or receive calls. I have done everything possible to fix this issue and have even tried to contact the support team only to find out that they don’t help anybody with their problems unless they pay for a membership. This is ridiculous. I don’t recommend getting this app unless you decide to pay for a membership with it so you can get help with your technical issues (that are on their part).

I incorrectly entered my password on new laptop. You locked my account. My tablet app was open and I changed to an easier pw. You signed me out of all logins and now with account locked I can't get back in either place. There is no help option n settings. I have no intention of creating a new account so get me some help to unlock please. Dumb that there is no help option in the app. Hence the 3 stars. Otherwise I would have given 4.

My spiritual life is tremendously enhanced as I’m able to meet daily with my spiritual brothers and sisters as we worship our God Jehovah! I’ve attended funerals, worked out with a personal trainer and attended jazz and other venues with family and friends. I’m 70 years old and despite my limited tech knowledge, maneuvering through the screen is becoming a bit easier. Wonderful app. Thank You Zoom ☺️

I have attempted to sign in several times, and Zoom claims not to recognize my password. I then have tried numerous times to reset my password, and have received no emails from Zoom (yes I checked my junk mail) so I have not been able to reset the password. Tried signing up for a new account - can’t do that either. Had to use another communication app for my meeting. Pretty frustrated.
